This Sydney terrace renovation blends classic charm with modern luxury, transforming a three-level semi into a four-story haven with seamless flow, abundant natural light, and breathtaking views of the Harbour and city skyline. We took on the challenge of transforming an existing three-level semi into a sprawling four-story haven, extending the living spaces into the rear of the property. The project included complex excavation work for stormwater retention and landscaping, extensive wall removal to open up the layout, and the installation of structural steel to support the new, free-flowing spaces.
Key construction upgrades included a full re-roofing, replacing old concrete tiles with durable slate, and the addition of custom grey steel entry gates that enhance both security and style. The terraced garden at the rear was meticulously constructed to create a private retreat, while the additional fourth level integrates seamlessly into the existing structure, providing more living space without compromising the home’s original framework.
This renovation balances complexity and elegance, ensuring that every detail serves a purpose, creating a harmonious and functional living environment while offering a spectacular connection to Sydney’s iconic harbour.
