McMahons Point third floor addition

The team at JRFS had their work cut out for them at this limited access site. Adding an additional level to an existing two storey home on a sloped block while keeping a fully functioning family home beneath. External access to the roof was erected allowing the client privacy with minimal impact to their daily routine.

Eastern side has the full 6m of the house open to panoramic views of Luna Park and Harbour Bridge, this was achieved using a structural steel portal frame. 

Existing staircase on the level below was continued up matched to suit. In house JRFS joinery featuring american oak shelves, hand painted v groove doors and concealed air con unit over wardrobe. Gas struts were installed on the bench seats in the kitchen for additional storage.
